Super Coupe Club of the South Meet at:
All Ford Show in Atlanta at the Atlanta Dragway
April 16-18, 1999

On April 16,17 and 18 the Atlanta Drag way held the All Ford Show and
the Super Coupe Club of the South held its 3rd mini meet there which was
also the largest so far. SCCoS Members included Mike Puckett from
Norcross, GA with his black 90 SC, Rick Cunningham from Smyrna, GA in
his Dark Blue 90 SC, part time schooling member Chuck Carroll from
Jacksonville University in Florida with his 90 Anniversary, and myself
from Sarasota, FL with my 95 SC, and SCCoA member Ron Wiemer from
Knoxville, TN in his Pearl White 95 SC.

The weekend started Friday with Mike and Rick at the test and tune and
with Pam and I meeting Chuck in Lake Park, FL and cruising up to the
drag strip that night. Chuck and myself met at the show car area while
Mike, Rick, and Ron were there to do a little drag racing. Mike went a
couple of rounds while Ron and Rick got knocked out in the first. Mike
ran a best of 14.135@98.26mph, Ron ran a best of 15.185@90.00mph stock
SC, and Rick's best was a 16.051@85.55mph other stock SC with 235,000
miles. After we were done racing and showing we headed over to Ryan's
to get something to eat everyone except for Rick he headed home early.
There we talk about mods that we have done what we do for a living and
everything else. After dinner we said our good-byes and hope to see each other again.

On Sunday Chuck and I met at my hotel and cruised to the track we
watched some drag racing talked Super Coupes and had a great time. The
awards were held a 4 p.m. neither of us won but we had a great time.
Then it was time to head home which we had a fun run in with a crew team
but that's another story. I would like to thank everyone who came out
we had a fun time and there was a gentleman who came out on Saturday in
a Silver SC I didn't catch you name but posted a picture of your car.
