Super Coupe Club of the South Meet at:
Hot Rod Power Fest at Moroso Motor Sports Park in West Palm Beach, FL
February 20-21, 1999

On February 20-21 the Super Coupe Club of the South had it's second mini meet at the Hot Rod Power Fest at Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach Florida. We only had two members at this meet Jaime Hernandez with his 94 SC, and myself.
We met at the show because I couldn't follow my own directions and got lost. Once at the show, we looked over each others cars, wiped them down and got them ready for the show.
The Holly Performance booth was offering a free chassis dyno for car show participants. Jaime had the high horsepower for a blown small block most of the day with 218.7 hp. I came in right behind him at 189.6 hp and 263.7 TORK they had a problem reading Jaime's car so they couldn't read his TORK. Jaime got beat by 69 Camaro with a blown 350.

We than wandered around and looked at all the beautiful hot rods and show cars that ranged from a '41 Willys to a new Viper GTS R. On Sunday we met back at the show wandered around some more, looked at vender booths that sold nothing for our cars and waited to be judged.

After being judged Jaime had to go early because his wife was not feeling well so my fiancÚ and I stuck around for the awards. Neither of us won, but it was a great weekend and we hope to see more Super Coupers March 13-14 for the Fun Ford Weekend in Bradenton, FL.
