I just flushed and refilled my radiator, changed tstat and replaced a few hoses, no leaks now, I still am getting a low level check on the vmm. The overflow is full, the car isnt over heating according to gauge in car, and the needle does move so im pretty sure its accurate. Is there any reason for the low level, just a bad sensor or what?

the connections on the end of the coolant sensor get very badly corroded and send mixed singals, some have success with sanding them with some sandpaper, and getting them to work again, i just deal with the light, sometimes it goes off sometimes not??

When it happenned to my 89, I used a small wire brush and cleaned the contacts on the probe and it fixed the problem.......:D
