I plan on going to the Ford Fun Weekend in Dinwiddie Va tomorrow and I plan on running my opal frost '94 sc auto, here's what it has on it:

True dual exhaust with magnaflow cats and flowmaster mufflers
double i/c with fan and 10% sc pulley
70mm bbk tb
mac cold air intake, K&N 9" filter
rebuilt tranny with '96 valvebody
3.73 gears

This is going to be my maiden voyage down the track in any car so what do you think I'll run? Car has 150,000 miles but motor only has about 70,000 ( it was a new factory motor covered under warranty back in '97 ) and runs pretty strong. I'm guessing I'll run a 14.8 but I would like to run a low 14......

I want to say 14.6 and if you had slicks I would place you at 13.9. Take out the back seat and spare tire before you go! Nobody needs that extra weight.

If you ice the car down and allow time to cool off before racing, it will probably run mid 14s. If raced hot more like low 15s.

15 with a 2.5 60'.

Pablo, you were damn close. I ran once in street ford class and lost with a 14.95 at 92.40 mph, 60' was 2.163 and reaction time was .526. After driving up there 100 miles and getting directly in the practice line, my 2 practice runs were in the 15.7 range with my 60' around 2.33 so I'm improved quite well on the run that counted plus the car had time to cool down. It was fun and I can't wait to do it again but hopefully next time it'll be in my black '94 pushing 400 rwhp....:D
