Called local Ford Parts for a TPS on the 90SC...He wanted the Calibration number of the vehicle...Never been asked for that before, then again never called about a TPS either...

He said that the TPS is set-up for particular emissions areas...

I would like more information on this, and if by differant calibration numbers for emission areas it could be hindering power at all at the TPS??? Do the EEC guys have control of any of these settings?

Cheers

The TPS is an input, so EEC is using it (along with other inputs) to determine load demand, basically. I can't see any reason for calibration info. I called a local dealership & an ordinary, mass merchandiser parts store & neither asked for calibration info.

Hey, what do I know SC

The only thing you can do with it is be sure that @ idle the voltage is approx 0.97vdc. If your tps was wacko, you'd know it (your car would stumble and jump etc)
