Yeah I dropped by TPS to see what they could do for me as far as tuning and Mike seemed to be interested in tuning a SuperCoupe...so if anyone else needs tuning, TPS seems very well equipped and yes the location is nice!

Jeff- Dont worry one little bling pulley cant top what you got under the hood:eek:

Dan- That will take me all week. Grinded all the rough spots than buffing. No thanks. But i can ask my buddy and see how much he will charge to do it at his shop.

Dont think you will see my car any time soon. Here is my car as of tonight:(

Its already started like I said .. just a little rough / unfinished in a few areas and around the lower part, but yeah it is a big manifold.
That really sucks .. I would definately not be running the engine while its puffing like the magic dragon .. Drain out your oil and make sure you dont leave coolant in there if its leaking down into your oil supply. You could always try John's magic head gasket fix in a bottle .. if youre feeling ballsy.

You got that right ...

Now it's almost 4 weeks later and the car is running awesome... not one fart, spit or puff...

I'm telling you guys... Thermagasket is the fix for the Head Gasket blues- or blue smoke I should say :-)

posjr
10-07-2008, 08:28 PM
Drove my car around the block and no smoke. So if you do plan a little meet really soon then i can make it but after two weeks from now i'll be gone for a few months....

Ddubb
10-07-2008, 09:38 PM
No smoke ? What was coming out of your exhaust pipes ? Condensation ??? Hmm, sounds highly suspect to me ... ;)

Ya I think the problem may not have been the gasket... a growing concern is the radiator cap failure... and that could be forcing water into werever it can go... not so sure about this commentary/ thought but either way...

My ride is running awesome so I'm sticking with a combination of both the HG and the Radiator cap.

Now I want to find another bird with the same HG problem and see if I can fix it...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that a bad radiator cap is not going to force water into your combustion chamber and out the exhaust ... ;)

I have nooooo idea...
I did see that it was the wrong cap... Tbird uses a 16 and I had a 13...
Either way... it's running great

Ddubb
10-08-2008, 10:53 PM
That is just the pressure at which the radiator releases the coolant into the overflow - the lower rated cap would relieve the pressure sooner.

- Dan

jleopold
10-11-2008, 06:00 PM
Ah... cool...
So if the pressure built up and never released ( due to a faulty cap... where would it go ? )

91BLOWNBIRD
10-12-2008, 01:55 AM
most likely through a gasket somewhere
