Hello guys, there is what looks like a "throttle cable" behind the supercharger top top. When I turn my car off this throttle cable closes, and when it does I'm getting a loud hum or vibration noise. It doesn't sound nice at all... Any clues as to what this is??

PLEASE HELP ME!! I DONT WANT TO BLOW UP MY CAR!!!

THANKS IN ADVANCED TO ANY HELP!!!

Sounds like ur talking about the boost bypass valve. I don't know whats wrong with it but it prolly just needs to be replaced.

Is it a sort of "honk" sound? Probably your Idle air control valve. The gizmo that sits on the side of the throttle body and controls the idle speed. Do a search on IAC valve and read up.

yes!! it is a honk sound, but it happens when the by pass valve closes once the car shuts off, and sometimes it was idling funny and it did it once the idle kicked down.

Thanks for your input!
