AOD Experts: short shifting tranny

My '90 AOD has 230,000 kms on it and it is short shifting. Ie. wot acceleration, it shifts on its own @ 4000 rpm. Around town it sometimes shifts under 2000 rpm. I always thought that as trannys aged, their shifts got lazier and higher in the rpm range? My TV cable seems to be adjusted correctly. Thanks in advance.

sorry

sorry tell you that your Tranny is just to old either go get a re-build:rolleyes: or go on B&M.com and order an B&M aod tranny from there they work great you will love hearing your tires cherp in 2nd and 3rd!

any other questions e-mail me at jvandonkelaar@chartermi.net

I would recheck the TV Cable

That sounds like it would be the problem. Just move it one click at a time though. A incorrectly adjusted TV cable WILL screw your tranny.
