This is not a new product but it is new to me. I recently needed to replace the tie down straps on my trailer for making a cross country trip and after looking around a bit I realized that there are many affordable straps available just about everywhere. I recently looked at a set of imported straps - hey the price was right (about $25 each for tie downs with built in axle straps).

Thankfully instead I looked around a little more and found these guys...

MAC's Custom Tie Downs (http://www.macscustomtiedowns.com)

For just a few dollars more ($130 complete for all 4 with carrying bag at Summit) I got made in America quality that I can trust. I know a lot of you guys will be trailering cars this summer (and fall) and you just want to be sure that you have good tie downs.

Dave,

For dummies like me who don't know what they are doing, can you list out the product numbers that you are buying.

Thanks, nice find.

Duane,

I bought this kit right here (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MTD%2D512108&N=700+115&autoview=sku). It's even available in different colors.

Dave,

Thanks for posting this....I've had a hard time locating this style of tie down strap and needed to get some before the Shootout.
