eBay question

I have a question pertaining to eBay. It seems to be a good source for SCs, and they seem hard to come by @ other places. So when a winning bid is placed, is there anyway to verify the car's said condition before actual payment, or is placing a bid considered an unconditional agreement, regardless of the car's condition?

I believe it is your responsibility to find out everything about the item (car, part, lamp, whatever it is your bidding on) before placing a bid. Most sellers make themselves available for questions via e-mail or phone if you need details about the item that weren't provided in the listing. I think when it comes to vehicles it may be best to have it inspected by yourself or someone else, especially if it is a big buck item. The best thing to do is to look for a vehicle offered by a seller who lives near you, so you can make arrangements to check it out yourself if possible.
