Guess where I was on Saturday. Even better, look what I brought home! Comp Cams billet camshaft, DD heads, DD ported polished lower, Trickflow pushrods and a hi flo oil pump.
I can smell a London engine swap party coming!!

Thanks.
I would love to see the work.
Now that I have the Festiva I might be able to afford to make the Black Bird go faster.

Very cool Dean. Let us know when you need a hand, I'm sure that some of the Toronto area people can make it down.
cheers
Ed N.
I too would like to see the Intake and Exhaust ports on the heads as well as the lower Intake:).
What are the specs on the cam and which pump did you get?

Cam specs are 218/224 dur and .571/.580 lift. Valves are 1.84 intake and 1.57 exhaust. "Flex" the oil pump is just the Melling used in the later model motors. Bottom end is going in at the beginning of next week for balancing and I will start assembling shortly there after. I still have gaskets and stuff like that to get. Speaking of which where can a guy pick up MLS gaskets around here?

Nice setup :)

Dean,
Melling actually makes a high volume pump for the 3.8 SC. I believe it is the 246.
How about some pics man.

That's the one.
Cool. Should help with some extra oil pressure. Have you guys ever opened up the pick up before to increase the size of the opening?
Where are the pics everyone is asking for buddy?:)
