Went over to Dave's last night for a re-tune.
Trip was fun, almost got strip searched by US customs again). On the way my wipers gave up, and I was driving though rain... lost 5 years of my life right there:eek:
Car had misfire issues, Dave couldn't tune it for a while. Spent about 6 hours total. Ended up being bad connection on the ignition wire. I left from his place 11.45, was home just after 3 am. Was so tired, can't even explain it. Had to be at work today by 7am...fun times.

Hoping to better my time at the track soon!

Nice work, glad to see you were able to make use of the drivetrain rather than parting it out. Sounds strong on the dyno, what kind of numbers did you make?

I didn't make any changes. I was happy with the car before, so I left it as it is. Was going to go with long tubes, but price for them drove me away. Maybe I'll buy them next year.
Final run car pulled 406.3 hp and 395.4tq. It was conservative tune, Dave didn't like that I was making 22.3 psi, mainly because of the stock manifolds.;)

Wow, nice numbers. And I thought I was doing good with the new ride at 320HP...

Of course it ended up being the one plug wire that is hardest to get to with stock IC tubes - #4. :o

Glad you got it all up and running.
I believe Dave left mine at around 15psi, what are you running for boost now?
Also, thats possibly the worst scan I have ever seen.

Well the beast is back, sort of. I commend your perseverance. Most mortal men would have given up on this one.
The amount of money (I'm guessing) you spent on this whole thing you could have had your pic of a lot of sweet cars...It's either really admirable, or really bumb, the jury is still out (j/k)
Glad to hear your up and rolling again.

Wow, three new words I learned from your post.;)
And it cost me 2500 to get new ride running, including rolling chassis. I was close to parting it out few times, to be honest, but I didn't see myself driving a Civic (ups, sorry Wayne)

...Well, for what was a pretty upsetting experience for you, I surmise, you sure turned things around and pulled the pieces together again (quite literally). Congratulations, Payton! Great work. I hope the car is better and stronger now than the previous incarnation. I'll look forward to seeing some new numbers from you in the near future.
...Just please, please, please don't drive again if you've had anything alcoholic to drink. Whether this truly was a factor the last time or not, the last incident could have been much more serious and it's just not worth taking the chance again. ...For your sake, and for the sake of those drivers and passengers in other cars on the road. ...And for the sake of your SC, of course. ;)
Good luck at the track this weekend! One of these days I'd love to make it out to see you and that AR-powered car perform in person.
Cheers,
Sean

Thanks Sean. I appreciate kind words and I don't drink any more drinking if I am driving.
I do have my hopes for this year to better ET times and make it to the SC Shootout.
And I also would like to see other cars at the track and desperate to see some AR cars next to mine;)
