It was dropped off of the flatbed around 1pm and I had enough time to give it a very quick wash. There are a few stone chips here and there and one very small surface rust spot where the pass. side rear bumper meets the quarter panel. No rotting yet, I'll have it looked after promptly. The interior is nearly as dirty as the outside was but I haven't had time to give it a going over. Actually for the $100 I may just have it professionally detailed.
What do you guys think of her, again, I know it's not a supercoupe....
I just value your opinions and suggestions.

I'm not a huge fan of the car, (brand) but from a performance stand point only it's pretty cool. (...I guess...:))That car with winter tires would be a helluva winter beater! I think the white rims look retarded, but that's just me. The overall condition of the car is pretty damn good...
nice grab....

I know it says DODGE on the car but in all actuality it is 100% Mitsubishi, chrysler corp had them design, manufacture, assemble, and ship to north america. The only thing dodge on/in this car is their exterior styling for the bumpers and skirts, oh and the badges. I am kinda partial to the white rims, my wife thinks they are tacky....

Looking good! Like I said I've always liked these cars other than they are a PITA and expensive to repair... not unlike a SC I guess!

And just like the SC's they are prone to head gasket issues as well! $1500 is a steal for that car. Depending on the mileage, I know the tranny's sell for $1000 with 100K on the clock!

It's got a 160k on the clock. From my research on the net and people I have talked to I haven't heard of a single head gasket issue with these cars, even from guys running ridiculous boost (over 1000HP). Where did you get the info that talks about head gasket issues, I'd like to read it over.
The transmission/transfer case/clutch/pressure plate were replaced at 145km, the cost to have it done was near $10K. This included a brand new complete gearset (all trans internals). When the original had issues it actually damaged the case so a used one was purchased for $2500 and then the new internals were installed. Very expensive, although if he had taken somewhere other than chrysler corp. I'm sure it would have been much more reasonable.

I got out of the SC game with a Japanese car too, the 3000gt/Stealth, is a nice ride and a solid build car. You have to do something to it, for about $3000, you can get it to 400AWHP which is about 534hp to the crank with as "they" say a 25% drivetrain loss for AWD.
I really miss my SC though...:( Wonder if I should get it back and do a build...hmmmm...

I am a huge Mopar guy. So the guys that own the Stealth/3000GT would show up to Mopar meets and I have talked to a bunch of different owners. The majority of which have had to change out the head haskets. If you look on craigslist you will find them selling on there for $3K with blown head gaskets and they have over 100K on the clock. They are a huge pain in the ~~~ to work on but well worth it when you get it running right, just a pig of a car, but something different down the road. Also, I don't remember which years, but it was early on, they had a huge lifter issue. They just click away really loud and lead to failure. So make sure you are listening to it.
