Guys this car is for sale in Port Bruce (South of London)

I took a look at it and it seems too good to be true. The 16" sport rims alone are worth what you can get this car for. Goodyear rubber all around has acceptable tread on them. Disks all around (I think all 96+ are), Rockers are solid with a few very small surface spots near the back. Dirty under the hood with some surface rust on shock towers but nothing that can't be cleaned up. Started up right away. Says Trans is good. 150,000KM on clock. Under body isn't top notch but its not that bad by any means. Interior is brown.... not tan... brown, grey and black. I've never seen brown in a Tbird before. I've seen red, tan, grey and black but never brown like this one.

Body lines up all around except trunk seems a few mm off on one side. He said it was never hit. Both doors open and close easily, no sag. Nothing on the body is broken. Lights are all good, all windows good etc.

Only problem according to him is the front break line is shot. Its not drivable as it sits because of this.

He is asking $800 OBO!!!

Guys this is looking to be the deal of the century and I really should have bought it myself but I'm dead broke and can't be buying another car when the one I have is fine. I drove out there with the intention of buying it but on the long drive I had enough time to calm down and my damn brain must have had time to think about it.

Looks like a potential good deal for someone that wants a decent driver. Thanks for giving everyone the heads up on it. :)

Hmm, sounds like something I should pick up.

Have been keeping my eye open for a 3rd beater car for when one of the other two break (and takes time to fix at my slow pace).

Would you have bought it if you had the cash?

I would have bought it in a heartbeat if I needed a car!

Went out and looked at it just now - and bought it .

It couldn't be driven due to the brake line broken, but for $800 even at worst if it needs something major - it's a cheap car!

Engine had a bit of a miss, hopefully plugs+wires will straighten that out.

It looks dirty in the pictures, and it IS very dirty due to sitting out under a tree for the last 6/8 months (can't remember how long he said it sat).

Aside from a 3" square of surface rust on the rear of the left rocker, it appears blemish free.

Didn't sit in it, the interior is goat $h|t brown, very ugly looking. But for the price - I ain't gonna complain too long!

Forgot the camera, but I'll have pics NEXT weekend after I pick it up :).

Awesome! I'm glad someone here bought it now I don't feel like an arse for acting like I wanted to buy it and then running away!

Seriously awesome car other than the ugly interior anyway!

Hey Kev keep us updated! Is it on the road yet? Did it need anything else for safety?

OK, just got it home 1/2 hour ago :).

It's FILTHY!!! Have hosed it off, letting it soak a bit and will be scrubbed. It's embarrassing looking like that in my driveway.

Anyways, the trunk lid is just the catch on the bumper is loose, found a bit paint damage on the FR fender. Interior is filthy, plastic seat button holder is broken in 2 spots, and the seat motors are weak.

Am not going to have this going anytime soon, don't need it till winter, so I'll take my time on it. Will see what it needs for a safety in a few weeks.

Will post pics though later this weekend!
