5spd sounds... crap!

I had the stock m5r2 make a snapping (like metal breaking) under the car and now I have no synchro in 2nd gear at all.

Normally you feel the synchro and then the gear, I now go straight to the gear and have to rev. match to get the car to use 2nd gear.

I know first and 3rd are shot, but they still feel like the have synchro gates.

Any thoughts?

You're going to have to pull it

And take a look.
You probably either lost the keys that locate the blocker or toere up the back side of the blocker so that they don't locate it.

Its not a big deal and I'll have it out with in 2 days and switched to one of the 3 others I have, but I just wanted to see if someone knew off hand.

Yeah, I just all the sudden lost reverse, got the gate but not the gear.
