How many are attempting to go to the shootout from NE and what time will you be leaving.

I want to get my car ready for it. But Dalke is not tuning so that minus 1 point, I am still waiting on parts from Manny -1 and I want to paint the hood for the shootout -1 if I dont get the parts in time. Vacation time is reserved so thats +1.

So I gotta change the odds in my favor. I am still pondering on using the Durango for towing the car or just driving the car there.
If I drive the car I will not be making passes. but I will save alot on gas and the rental fees of the trailer About 60 per day.

Or I might just skip it all toghether if its not meant to be its not meant to be its not meant to be.

I'd love to go, but I'd probably have to take time off from school and it would cost me a fortune in fuel to drive my car there. I'm not sure if it's gonna happen.

We all have to make sacrifices for a little bit of fun. JK

I'd go, but the car is not ready for sure. Well it runs and drives the b@llz but looks like poo. I know it can throw down an 11 sec pass.

What does it matter if Dave is doing the tuning or not? I may go, but chances are that I'll be sleeping in the car (not the SC) and just there for the general event. I've never been to one before.

Do not not go just because he isn't personally tuning. The guys at Precision know their stuff and Dave will be making an appearance. He has to, he has all the base tunes :p

This year is out for me for sure. Maybe if all goes well Iíll go next year if the bird is still flying on both wings and I'm healthy enough to go.

Doesn't matter how it looks if it runs low 12s high 11s. You really should try to make it....you won't regret it.

aside from it looking like a heap, grad school is the major factor for me. Working around my classes, teaching classes, and thesis work kills my time towards the end of the week and saturdays. :(

Once I get myself a job and a very healthy income I'll be able to afford to head down there. I only got about 8 months left (3 mo classes and 5 thesis) then I can relax until I enter the working world.

I hear you, my card was recently a victim of theft. I had 300 dollars charged to different porno sights from the internet. Don't know how they got it but they did. I think it was from a email that I received and when I opened it up they got it from my computer. My wife wasn't happy but when I told her that I didn''t need to tell her and that if I actually did it I could have easily hide it from her I could have as I take care of all the finances. It was a stroke of luck that I found out as I went to a cards website to check out a old charge as I was trying to remember what I spent. Anyway I hope to see you there Ricardo. I am still a little concerned as my car is still not put together.:eek:We will see! Stephen
