will a SC steering wheel from a 94' SC w/airbag fit a 89' SC with no airbag option ? My wheel is getting old a needs a fresher look.

Not without a lot of mods. I put the leather Cobra wheel on my 89. The clockspring mechanism is different and I had to create an adapter to make the old one fit the new wheel. Also the bottom plastic cover that covers the top of the steering column did not fit from either year and I had to make one out of aluminum.

So, it can be done, but it is not a bolt-on job.

I have a steering wheel in great shape from my 1990 35TH Anni S.C.

I was going to keep it as a spare,IF you need it let me know.

i put a aftermarket wheel in my 93. we used a adaptor for a mustang i think 87. but the cruse was messed up so only the horn was used with the new wheel. but this was years ago and thatt car is long gone now:rolleyes: but i got all the parts at autozone. i just took it a part and took the wheel down ther and starting looking through the ford adaptors till i found something i could make work;) to put that nice Grant wheel on there.
