Hooking fan to a switch

How to hook a switch up to your fan? And still have it auto turn on

I was just thinking about that this morning on my way to work. I have my fan running all the time at the moment.

Any advice folks?

Basically you install a DPDT switch where you like, such as on the dash bezel, and wire in 2 diodes + 1 resistor into the EEC harness. The diodes keep power from going the wrong way, the resistor provides bleed off for the IRCM fan circuit. All wiring is done inside the passenger compartment. Nothing is done under the hood.

If you want to go simpler, you can just go with a SPST switch and just break the circuit to switch the fan on.

I'll scan my setup for you all later.

Or you could have it thru a switch for FULL CONTROL MUAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
