I found a 91 LX in the u-pull-it and it had brand new upper control arms, outter tierod ends and sway bar links on it. From what autozone shows, they are the same for all years. I couldnt get the outter tierod ends off. They were a beast. Kinda felt bad, couldnt break it loose, cracked a knuckle, got pissed and beat a big dent in the fender.

Borrow a tie rod separator tool from Autozone. Thats the best way to preserve the rubber boot and avoid bruised knuckles. For the LCA ball joint, use the bigger pitman arm puller tool. [Its not really a puller, its more of a pusher.. just what its called.]

You couldn't break the locking nut loose from the rack or you couldn't get the shank of the tie rod out of the spindle. If it's you couldn't get the shank out of the spindle, hit the spindle on the side where the shank of the tie rod goes thru that usually breaks em loose. put the castle nut on and thread it even with the end of the shank an hit it up.
