imbalance question

I have a question about a pully being out of ballance. Now becises the crank pully could another be out of balance and still pass that vibration along to the balencer through the belt? I ask this because i reused a pully that has a dent in it and i know i have 2 tensioners that the case is broken. Im just trying to hunt down why i broke a few balencers before i spend 400 on a bhj. Thanks.

Are you using used balancers?
