I will be in Southern California this weekend on vacation and figured it would be nice to perhaps hook up with some of the SCCoSC people at some point over the weekend. Are there any car shows, etc.?

Endicott huh? I was born in Liberty and grew up near Roscoe. Then went to school first in Roch. then in Cortland (I know, I know...I drink less now!) Anyway, there will be the Route 66 rendezvous (sp??? my wife would kill me for messing that up) in San Bernardino this Friday, Sat and Sun. I will be out of town but I expect that some of our fellow members will be there. It's quite an impressive event and certainly worth the trip even if you are in LA or San Diego.

If all works well and I can convince him, Mike (35thSC) and I will be hammering at the SC's and I think Ron (ronzsc aka Not the quickest and Fastest) wanted to put some parts into his as well. About car shows, I don't know of any, although the Route 66 thinggie soudns good. Where exactly in Southern Cali will you be?

its a blast its down town san bernardino best place to park is at carousel mall security guards to watch your car. I go every year, have a few freinds showing their cars , eat drink see cars watch open header cruz, burnout contest,if anyone can make it let me know Ill meet you there, Ill be the 6'4 drunk guy with food dripping down the front of his shirt, smoking , drinking, eating, and half naked women walking around in the so cal summer heat sounds good to me!and oh yeah cars.

Kinda miss upstate NY for all the crappy days and the wonderful excuses to get obliterated. Everyday's a perfect one in the desert of Riverside county..(sarcasm inplied for those who have never been here)...avoid it if at all possible.

It sure is pretty up there but I get yelled at constantly by the fishermen. My lab. hasn't quite figured out that fishing is a quiet sport. Tough to keep a 80 lbs. dog in a boat when he has different ideas :p

My wife wants me to go to the contractor's open house at the Ventura Fairgrounds this weekend. Gosh, I hate to miss it, but some of the guys were thinking about going to The California Dragway. It is the last weekend of drag racing for the season.
Let's see, how can I get out of the Home Improvement deal in Ventura??? I think I need to visit a sick friend and sneak my SC out of the garage and head for Fontana!!!!
