Sunroof ?

I got a question for you guys about the sunroof. I have a 93 sc that is need of a new sunroof. The local bone yard has one out of a 96 mark vlll and need to know if it will work in my car with no problems. The lift arm broke on the passenger side so I am just going to replace the whole unit.
