I have searched and am leaning towards this not working.

I did a parts online catalog search and found something really odd on all the sites.

'92 non-SC crank costs 300+
'94 SC cranks costs
Crankshaft, cougar, thunderbird, w/supercharger - 3.8l - 3.8L 94-95 $1,651.65

Just never found part numbers and thinking that second price can't be accurate.

Will they swap out?

SC 3.8 crank is the same from 90-95...some of the 89s had a cast crank but the majority are forged and are interchangable with any SC motor.

If you need a crank buy a used SC motor and have it polished and balanced.

Thanks Dave, I have found a short block with crank that was a Ford reman.
It is a 94 and I have a 92 that I'm putting back together, good to know they swap.

I'm hoping Ford doesn't turn their cranks but if they do, at least maybe the radius is turned to specs.

i have a 90 SC crank polished and in plastic wrap straight form the machinist. He did both of mine by accident so I now have a spare.

Willing to sell if your other plans dont workout.

Let me know
