Hi. I have a problem. Some months ago i blow the HG. maybe remember me... Well i buy a complete low miles sc engine. my problem is, my steering pump in the past doesnt have the evo valve installed. The new engine comes with a pump and the evo . I install that valve in my old pump, because the pump is practically new. all looks good, but today i fill the pump with oil and i try to turn clockside the pump, turns complete 1 - 3 times but then it feels like begins to resist turning.. like as a vacuum ... and makes a click. when this happens throws a little oil by the pipe that comes from the valve. So i dont know whats wrong. maybe the pump, but the pump before the HG are fine without sounds and in this time was without use.

Maybe the valve? or what?? please help me ,

The evo valve is controlled by what??

please help me i need to finish this project...:o thanks

If the evo valve isn't hooked up, it should be wide open. It's a variable orifice valve that takes a frequency modulated signal to control how opened or closed it is and fails safe, all the way open.

Sounds like you may still have some air in the system.
