Well I managed to break my M5r2 taking down my exhaust system.

I am looking for a M5R2 extension cover. In good condition please.

Let me know.

well it looks like you could weld an ear back on there, drill and re-tap it. However, welding cast AL is hit or miss and sometimes the heat effected zone will compromise the strength of the part.

I would also think about making a replacement piece that could bolt into the existing housing. It could change the height by a little but shouldn't effect too much.

Then let me see how I make out finding one of these. So far no luck.

Anyone have one?

It should. Are you willing to part out that transmission?

The trans grinds on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, syncros are pretty well shot. so I mean it's not a huge deal to me.

How soon you need it, not sure how quick I could have it pulled, probably be a few weeks.

I'd take the whole tranny....you never know when you'll need an input shaft or an output shaft... :(

As long as you dont forget, I can wait a little. I am waiting for the Diff to come in the mail anyways should take about a week or so.

I would take the whole trans but shipping would be a killer.

I bet shipping would only be like 80 bucks freight. If I had some cash laying around I'd buy it and just swap tailhousings with you and fix your broken one. Key works, "If I had some cash..."

Anyways, I'll stop hijacking your threads:p

i just spent $400 on a stupid diff so I am broke too. This was a unplanned mishap. Like everything that goes with this car.

..Tell me about it....the economy sucks and I'm trying to get some money together to build a shortblock, AND find another roller in the process. Needless to say, things are going slow...

the economy does suck, I'm a refinery inspector and I haven't had a single call in over a month.

when the refineries start slacking thats just a major disaster waiting to happen.
