Curtis that sucks. I am sure a plan will come to mind. Maybe rent someones garage for cheap that is unused, something? Good luck. With today's economy someone might be looking for a few extra bucks.

Stephen

i might know somewhere in new dehi you can rent a spot for cheap. pm me and i can find out

I got a letter from the codes officer in my socialist town about my sc being parked without registration. I got registration now so hopefully the gestapo leaves me alone. I thought this was America

I live in a nice subdivision and hope to sell my home soon. My property value and sellablity would plunge if the guy next door is parking vehicles in his yard. Covenants in subdivisions have purpose and one shouldnt even live in one if they are a inconvience to you. I myself want to move out in the country and have room to park my car where I want but as long as I am in a nice subdivision it would be hard to sell my house if the guy next door had a parking lot in his yard. My wife sells real estate so I know that buyers tend to dislike seeing neighbors that dont fit into the division because they would be the ones living next to that. Just another opinion

Ken

Haha.

I think I would go ape if I lived in a subdivision with an association and covenants. If I'm going to pay the mortgage, the house looks like I want it to look, the decorations stay up as long as I want, and the car can sit there until the earth reclaims it. Hazards to your neighbors' safety are one thing, but ownership is ownership.

I am going nuts in a subdivision which is why I want to move to a small acreage outside town. But regardless almost anywhere you go there is some kind of rules to abide by. Zoning laws, covenants, townships. One has to know what your getting into. ;):D

My car is in my parking lot it looks clean and technically the property is zoned for commercial, and my grandparents own the property. So I'm sure if I wanted to make a big deal out of it I could but I needed to get it registered any way or the state would be calling wanting the plates. I just think that a car in your driveway on your property the Man should stay out of your business. O well its only goin to get worse over the next 4 years.

I used to be against covenants. For instance, my folks can't put a shed up in their neighborhood. Everything must be attached to the house.

Then you go to my neighborhood where the guy with a one car garage has a huge boat, three wrecked cars in his yard, a SEMI out in front and a tow truck to pick up even more ~~~~ that he has no room for. Friends of mine live directly next door and there isn't a day that goes by that they aren't fuming about it. She wants to sell her house, but no one will touch it because of that huge Flippin' slob next door.

Suddenly, not being able to put up a shed, in order to gaurantee that doesn't happen to me, doesn't seem so bad :)

problem has been solved.....:(

on a unrelated note for anybody in the st louis area there is a nice SC at the speedway junkyard across the street from GIR....still has a engine it it

That's why we live out on 13 acres and keep it nice, but the development has been held at bay for now. You would not want me has a neighbor. :D:D

My dad just got papers in the mail today from the subdivision board about my white car sitting in his back yard. I just moved it up there a week ago!

I only have a one car garage at my house, I moved the white car to my parents house because they are out in the country and don't have any zoning restrictions....makes sense to me....move the parts car out and move the race car in so I can start working on it for next year

Moral of the story is I have to find parking spots for my truck, Ericas car, and both of my Thunderbirds...... Its not going to happen.....I live in town and I already park my truck in the yard....its mine I figure I can do as I please

I'm done venting...thanks sccoa

Did you volunteer it off or did they have it hauled??? Grrrrrr, I'm so glad I live in the country, put my projects anywhere on my 400 acres I please.
