rear defroster won't turn off?

hey guys,

I drove the car today and turned on the rear defroster cause of the ice storm last nite and it wouldn't turn off...isn't it supposed to turn off after like 10 mins or so? IT DOES turn off if I push it though but not automatically

I think mine stays on for like 15 minutes. Sometimes it varies. Welcome to the club.

Replace the defroster switch - the 10 minute timer is inside it.
