Vacuum port Differential??

Yesterday I was crawling under my sc since I been feeling some vibrations after 55mph and I thought the driveshaft bolts were loose, they looked tight.

but I saw what looked to be a vacuum port made out of plastic that comes out of the differential, never seen it before and its not plugged, just wondering what it is ??

The loose end just goes in the subframe rail, it's a breather.

So i should be missing a hose since all i have is a plug less than inch long , will it hurh anything?

Get some hose and stick the other end in the nearest hole in the subframe about 2-3 inches, you don't really want water or dirt getting in there.
