Figure I'll get this goin.

Any thoughts people? I'm game for whatever, just need a heads up.

Maybe like Todd had suggested, the mini kart racing? Lets make this a good turnout. The more, the merrier.

I know there are more of you out there. So get your lazy butts up  and get out to this next meet. ;):D

Well...........Suggestions guys?

franky_402
01-21-2009, 03:11 AM
i suggest that i will try very very hard to come this time, i promise!! I'm pretty much down for anything

CougarXR/7
01-21-2009, 08:43 PM
Some place in the far South burbs? Western burbs?

pearl95sc
01-22-2009, 12:10 AM
Well if its us south siders and far south siders, then we could do something local. Maybe do lunch at Mindy's @196th & LaGrange in Mokena ? Their food is delish, I love goin there when I can. They also have a nice sized lot for plenty of parking.

Idunno, whatevers clever. I'm down if its sundays or evenings on saturdays.

I'll be honest as well here, in that I have no ideas on anything west or north west, IE Naperville, Downers Grove, Aurora, those areas. Not my neck of the woods, but I'm down for a drive.

Duffy Floyd
01-22-2009, 12:26 AM
How about south and east? Would make it a tad easier for me to attend. Saturdays better for me though weekend of the 7th is out.

CougarXR/7
01-23-2009, 06:28 PM
Oak Lawn? Oak Forest? Matteson? Lansing?

tydlwavs
01-27-2009, 08:48 AM
I'm up for a gathering in the south burbs somewhere. Is there anything in Flossmoor that would work? I don't know that area that well. I don't mind driving out East a bit to accomodate IN or MI people.

CougarXR/7
01-27-2009, 08:55 PM
I'm sure there would someplace to meet on 183rd Street or on Kedzie in the Homewood/Flossmoor area.

I'll take the wife out for breakfast Sunday........then take a drive that way to take a look.

CougarXR/7
02-01-2009, 03:20 PM
Okay..........how about either of these

1. Burger King
18301 South Harlem Ave.
Tinley Park, Ill 60477

2. Culvers
18248 Sayre Ave.
Tinley Park, Ill 60477

3. Cracker Barrel
18351 North Creek Dr.
Tinley Park, Ill 60477

They are within a mile or less of I - 80 and just off Harlem Ave.

CougarXR/7
02-01-2009, 06:11 PM
Ok............it's a bit off topic............Hey Allyn.....would you have an owners manual for a Pioneer MOSFET 50W? The 94' has one of those and I have NO idea what half the adjustments or features are.

pearl95sc
02-02-2009, 02:00 AM
Don't have any pioneer manuals, however, I can give you a runthrough next time we meet up.

As for places, Cracker Barrel gets my vote. But If we're shooting for places close to highway, I'm still voting for Mindy's off of 191st and lagrange. Its like the patio, but has a vintage theme. And they have delishous chow. Whatever's clever. If not either of these places, culvers gets my next vote.

CougarXR/7
02-02-2009, 07:34 PM
Date? Time? Location guys?

Duffy Floyd
02-02-2009, 09:32 PM
Inquiring minds would like to know as well so they can decide if they can make it.

On a separate note....most mfg. have downloadable manuals on their sites for older head units as well as the other equipment they have made.

CougarXR/7
02-07-2009, 11:37 AM
Well......this week end is toast..............the 15th,21st,22nd or 28th?

Cracker Barrel?

Mindy's?

Time?

Date?

Is a Saturday best?

Sunday afternoon at 1:00?

Chris aka Parrot_HD

Let me know if you are still able/willing to work on the exhaust stuff. I need to know what's up so I can proceed with the car. I tried to leave you a couple PM's but never heard back. I can bring you the parts when you get your stuff installed and have my stuff created at the same time.

I also have your keypad here. If I don't hear back from you I'll probably just refund the money for the keypad. Not sure what happened to ya;)

Thanks,
Todd

This Saturday is fine for me. Early evening at Cracker Barrel for dinner perhaps?

pearl95sc
02-10-2009, 10:54 PM
I'm game, but I work til 5 on saturdays, and won't make it out there til 5.30ish at the earliest. We should probably set something in stone now before its too late.

On another thought about these meets, should we maybe shoot for a set day/time of each month for these meetings? Might make things a lil easier as far as planning goes. At least until summer comes along, thats when all the fun starts.

CougarXR/7
02-11-2009, 09:50 PM

With THIS Saturday being Valentines Day...Cracker Barrel could be a mess?

Anyone want an AOD? I need to get this thing gone and I am no longer looking in anyway to ship it. Shiping it has become a major headache.

scbird1
02-15-2009, 08:53 PM
This one is number 14. Its pearl white with power nothing and a v6 Has the 4 tone tan inerior. It does have cup holders though. It was beat up and neglected so I had to save it. Its good on gas I think.

CougarXR/7

I should be able to make it as well since this should be right in my neck of the woods. The new project is on torn apart and on jack stands already but the blues beast can make a showing. Let's make some definite plans for this.

First of all, where and when. I need address because I'm on the N. side. It sounds like you guys are going to be trading stuff. I have alot of things I'm not going to be using and too much to mention. I'll fill up the trunk to let you guys go threw it. If anybody's got a snout seal for the supercharger or a belt tensioner with pulley for the front belt. (alt. and p/w steering.) Please bring that. I have N/A 3.8 stuff too from my 93 lx. If there's anything specific you need let me know before the meet. Again let me know where and when.

CougarXR/7
02-16-2009, 07:13 PM
Hi Sam............look in this thread for the addy for the Cracker Barrel. I posted it so everyone can find it.

Saturday the 21st at say between 5:00/5:30 ..........I'll be driving the 94' LX again.

Duffy Floyd

Not looking good here. We are under a winter storm watch and the forecast is for snow to start at 4 AM and to continue all day with 4"-7" forecast for my area. I would not count on me making it....sorry guys.

Holey Mackerel, did I see Iron Sam post up???

Day late and a dollar short here fellas, but I was there in spirit.

I'll try to stay tuned in better so I can make it to the next meet.

Hopefully we can find an OK place a little further north so Sam and I can attend more often.
