Will front seats from a 94-95 Cougar fit in my 90SC?

the same goes for putting say, regular cloth non-power seats from an LX into an SC ?

dont mean to hijack by the way.

Not so sure about the electrical connections to the seat though. The late model only uses a single power connector. The early models had two connectors under the seat for power if memory serves.

talked to a guy that has a 994-95 and he said his drivers has 2 plugs. One for lumbar and 1 for everything else. He said his passenger just has 1 plug for lumbar.

The main plug in all years is a 2 wire + and - and the other plug in is for the seat belt warning light. The later seats have a male plug in so in some cases you just need to use a double female conector or just splice the wires together. With some they changed the polarity but its no big deal as it will work both ways just check the funtions before you button it up. You will need to change the seat belts to fit the correct year for your car but you can use any year SC or LX seats form 89-97 and that includes the power tracks. Just to add every MN12 has the wires for the power seats on both sides so it can be added to all of them.
