I have a couple camshafts. Is there a code on them that will tell you the year and/or what trans they were mated to?
Thanks
Ken

See any paint marks on them?

Duffy,
I don't see any paint marks.. Two of the cams have the letter "D" and one has the letter "E". I don't know if that helps
Ken

'D' sounds like a 1996 through '98 'revised' roller cam, part number F6ZZ-6250-A (later-years-only roller...)

"D" I was referring to is on the back of the camshaft. I saw your original reply about the letter "A" behind the barrel of the front of the cam. I actaully have the letter "C" on all of them

'A' on the barrel should indicate 1989-’95 (E9SZ-6250-B) 3.8L V-6 RWD roller w/auto trans - and since yours aren't 'A'... Can't track down 'C' specifically, sorry.
