I created this account so I can try to get rid of this stuff. I am a member of Corral.net since im a mustang guy. Anyway, ive got a pearl white hood off a 94 T-bird in great shape. Iva also got a 3.8 engine outta a 99 mustang that has bearings shot in it. Everything else is fine. Has the twin plenum intake and heads have better flow over previous years as well.
Also, if anyone is interested in Jackson MS, there are two 3.8 SCs, early 90s with full interior and complete engines with chargers at PULL-A-PART.
PM me for prices and other info. THANKS

Pearl white hood in great shape!

I'm interested in the Pearl white hood in great shape.
Only problem is, if you're in Jackson, MS then freight
would be a killer.
How much do you want for the hood?
How would you package it & ship it to
Columbus, Ohio?
Thanks!

Actually I live in Cedar Grove TN, near Jackson TN. My dad lives in Jackson MS. I prefer not to ship it for the simple reason that it would cost so much. If you would pay shipping I will get you a quote. Im asking $75 for the hood.

Pictures, please!!!
My main concern on shipping isn't the cost, it's the possibility
of DAMAGE!!! I'm looking for a hood in real nice shape, including
real nice paint, that I could just mount in place of my slightly
bent hood! Now would be a perfect time to do it, since it's
getting worked on at XR7Dave's in Madison, Ohio.
Could you wrap it in bubble-wrap & box it up before shipping?
Then, how would you ship it?
Get me a quote if you can, to Madison, Ohio Zip Code 44057.
Thanks!!

Here's a pic I took today with my phone, I washed it off a little (too cold to wash much by hand) but it could use another good bath. it is in great shape and only has a few tiny chips toward the nose of it. I will get you a shipping quote tomorrow. Hopefully it won't have to ship freight.

Meet halfway?

Any possibility of meeting halfway, say Louisville or Bowling Green, KY?

Let me know.

Thanks!
Jeff

Shipping via ABF trucking is around $125 to Madison so $200 and its to your door. Can't meet you because I can't get off work nor do I have a way to transport it.

New shipping quote!

Could you check with ABF trucking for a quote to Columbus, Ohio
Zip Code 43213? Evidently David in Madison did not remove the
hood when he pulled my engine, so no sense shipping it all the way
up there!
If they have a terminal here in Columbus, which they probably do,
and it's cheaper if I pick it up there, then get a quote for that!!

Also, how will you package it to insure it doesn't get damaged?

Let me know.
Thanks!
Jeff

No, I'm not on the corral.
Why do you ask?

Have you been able to get me a quote from ABF to
ship this to their terminal here in Columbus? I would
think it would be quite a bit cheaper than all the way
to Madison, OH which is about 200 miles further!

Also, how would you package it to insure no damage?

Let me know.
Thanks!

Mustang oil filters in trade?

BlazinSN95, I have 14 high performance oil filters left
over after selling my '91 Taurus SHO.

There are 8 k&n # HP-3001, and 6 Mobil1 # M1-301.
These are equivelant to Motorcraft FL1-A's, which I
believe work on quite a few Mustangs!

These sell for at least $10-12 each, & I would be willing
to trade them for your hood. Just a thought.

Or if you can't use them, maybe you know someone who can?
At $5 each, these are a bargan. If I can move these, it would
certainly make it easier for me to purchase your hood.
Let me know.
Thanks!
Jeff

New shipping quote to Columbus, Ohio?

Blazin,

I sold the oil filters!

Have you gotten a new quote from ABF to their
terminal in Columbus, Ohio?

Also, how would you pack it to insure no damage?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Jeff

Sorry, been really busy!

Hey Jeff, i'm sorry for the hold up! I've been busy getting everything ready for my wedding and moving into another place:eek:. I did get the quote but its floating around on a POST-IT note somewhere so I will just call them back tomorrow and get another. As far as packing goes im gonna wrap it in something soft and then fabricate a cardboard box to handle it in. Unless the truck wrecks it won't be damaged, its made of steel so its no where near as vulnerable as fiberglass. Also, to make it cheaper i will get the quote for pickup, not delivery. Again I'm sorry for taking so long with this!
Oh, and good job on selling those filters! That's a lifetime supply for someone!

New shipping quote yet?

Let me know what you've come up with for a new
shipping quote to Columbus, Ohio picked up at the
ABF terminal!!

Thanks,
Jeff Parker
