I would use studs for the heads rather than bolts. Thats really important. I would look into solid rubber engine mounts as well.

I would suggest getting the high volume oil pump that came in 94/95 SC's, Melling M-246. If you gonna change it might as well upgrade.

I see an oil pan gasket listed there. Is there one on the later sc's because I know mine was just rtv from the factory. I didnt think there was one for our cars

The oil pan gasket is not really much of a gasket, http://www.autozone.com/R,2570352/v...partType,00529/shopping/partProductDetail.htm

Where can I get the Studs from? Does Autozone carry them?

Will the Melling M-246 fix right?

Thanks

Most get them from Summit. The head bolts have to be torqued and done right in a certain procedure. I guess its a pain in the butt. The head studs can be reused and also they can be torqued higher than the bolts for more clamping force. They are really worth it in my opinion.

I got my head studs from summit, they were the ones for the chevy 2.8l. Here is a link to the ones that I got http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=ARP-233-4003&autoview=sku. I went back and retorqued them probably 3 times just to make sure they held the torque. And so far they are working really well for me:D. For the motor mounts i would get some solid rubber mounts from victor http://spinningwheels-sc.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=18 . And once you get it back together make sure you prime the oil system before you try to start it.
