My left hand window regulator won't work any more, and I can't get the trim panel off. I have the manual and no matter what I do, the panel won't come off.

I also need a new window regulator.

They glue those on permanently at the factory. You have to get a complete new door:p! Good luck matching the paint :D. But seriously, just remove all the screws from the moldings and the panel and wiggle it free. It's about the easiest remove of anything on the car.

Rockauto has window regulators last time I checked but it’s been a while since I’ve had to do any maintenance on mine.

Ummm....as I recall, at least for the early models:

  • one small upper trim panel top/front...one screw
  • door cup (pry out along top - lift up and out while slightly opening the door handle...don't break the tab on the bottom)
  • one screw down/rear near the courtesy lamp
  • one screw to remove the window control etc. bezel
  • one screw near door pull behind that bezel
  • slide up and lift away...won't come off completely due to switches/wires

Most times the regulator just needs new cam buttons - less than $10 @ Autozone, as an example. "
