*edit - B&M Shifter (I even have a sticker on the 1/4 window and I still forgot.....)

Within the time frame of me owning the car I have put about 8k on it in the 6 years I've owned it, but the time I owned it the car has been a blast. I'm selling for the reason of having to choose between two cars a 95 67k C.Blue LX and my 93SC. I would like to be able to find drivetrain parts in a few years and a DOHC will be fun, the LX wins. Before I get in depth in whats going on in the car I'll throw up the asking price of $3500, there are lots of good parts on the car as well as the reman motor.

The body has 112k and the motor less than 3k, its been through the works and driven spiritedly to make sure its a quality motor and no problems have come up. Trans is an early style M5R2 with typical syncro wear on 1st and 2nd gears. I've learn to drive the car with out using 2nd gear at all, I also have a spare early style M5R2 with brass rings in it, it shifts very firmly, but it doesn't grind. With the 3.08 gears in the Alum. MK8 housing, the car has a nice jump in usable gearing and still a nice highway RPM. The speedo gear has been changed to accomodate the gears and a stock size trire, I run 245/50/16s usually and the speedo is off about 5mph or so.

I took it to the track last fall without the exhaust or 5spd swap and it ran a 14.7@96mph. With all of the drivetrans mods to the car, it still gets 23mpg regularly on the 12.5 one way trip to work. Still original working AC system, still cold.

I still drive this car daily and am having ZERO PROBLEMS with it. It starts right up, drives beautifully, really it does. Beyond the mechanical wellness is the body. The car has two large key marks on the pass side door from being in the city, metallic clear is failing in spots along the car and it has some rust along the wheel well below the body moldings on the pass side. I hit a racoon when it was an automatic breaking the front air dam along the pass side bottom, unnoticable from the top and a fair amount if not all tabs are broken along the rear bumper, all of the above has/have been clear zip tied up in place and looks stock. Two tires on the stock rims (245/50s) are usable and two are completely unusable and I would not trust them to the nearest corner mart (fanblades are on now). The fanblades come with the car, unless we work something out.

I've listed this car honestly and to the best of my ability and would like to sell this car. I have lots of parts seperate that may add sugar to the pot. etc. extra M5r2 transmissions, auto early radiator, all sorts of other stock parts that could go with this.

My name is Joe for those of you who don't know, my number is 610-739-9026 and the car is located in Allentown, Pa. Thank you.

$3500 obo

Question for you, did you make or buy the Triple Gauge A-Pillar Pod?
Looks nice and need on for my SC.
Good luck with the sale.

I bought it from Lotek. http://www.gaugepods.com/ford.html
It looks better in person than in the stock photos online.

The reman motor cost more than that.

If someone walked up with $3k cash, I'd sign over the title just as it sits now.

How about if someone walked up with a "ZONING NOTICE" and told me to move the car today? Seriously, I got a flourescent orange note saying to move my car off of my front yard. Any interest yet?

Like everyone whos looking to get rid of a car they've put money into, it might be here that long. I could snag a pic of the guages today, I'll get on it now and add it to this post later.

HP? If I had to guess, somewhere in the 230 range to be honest.

* Id figure I'll throw it out there that I'm looking for a good working order T-56 out of an F-body. I would be willing to drop the price to $2,000 if you would happen to have one laying around.

PM SENT on the VIN#

The rust I'd say is about half on that spot, its enough to break the paint off, but I'd say if you hit it with an air grinder with a sanding disc and got to the metal, you could probably see that its through, but I can't be sure and it doesn't feel flimsy there.

There is one 99% unoticable dent/bend in the 1/4 panel that I found while at the shop under the flourescent lights, it looks like I put my left hand there to wash the front of the wheel well and put too much weight on it.

I say it's a nice looking car for the money. Interior is nice and a decent body. I think it's well worth the asking price.

Very nice car. You're really close to me. Too bad it's out of my budget.

I really thought at $2500 with the mods and NEW motor I'd have it sold already.

I'll be coming to chicago if anybody is interested in checking the car out on the way. Joliet area to be specific.
