I've been thinking of replacing all my side windows with lexan. What exactly are we looking at here? Which windows and how much?

just driver and passenger, I think the 1/4 glass is 180.00. but i am going to keep the factory, I am keeping all the window moldings on to keep it looking stock. really no easy way to do that with the 1/4 glass

they are usually 1" oversized, how much do you think replacing all the glass with glass would cost?

for 3/8" front with marguard 1/8" door and 1/8"' rear 602.00 + Shipping

If you put some cross bracing in the window you could go with 1/8" all around for 389.00 http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=PHP%2D8%2D02167H%2D22&N=700+4294908331+4294924927+115&autoview=sku thats untreated so the car needs to be garaged and even with a center brace you get defelection above 80 MPH or so with 1/8"

I did an 80s camaro over the winter with 3/16 and and 1/4 for a little over $300.

we use the stuff all the time so we get a deal on pricing.

definatly worth the time and money i think. big weight loss especially the big back hatch on the camaro.

why are all the links for a mustang? Percy's doesn't even make a kit for a tbird.

These windows are from Proglass, same place where Jerry Bickle gets them. They are molded piece (has all the same curves as factory) and have the anti scratch coating. yes you can go much cheaper if you use flat stock. but definitely looks like it. No one else makes lexan for T birds any more.

1/8" lexan is so thin why does it matter if there molded and still 1" bigger all around. that stuff does what ever you want it to. they look the same.

just feed back.;)

you can definately tell the difference. flat sheet always looks flat in the center. molded keeps the contour.

I never said you can't do it from flat stock. I like the look much better

I would love to do it, but that's pretty costly, for a kit.

The front and rear windshields are the majority of the glass weight. Is there a way to buy those pieces alone?

I thought they were the same front & side and the rear hatchback would jist require more trimming
