Hello, I have done alot of searching, and can't find anything on what is required for a 5spd swap... I have a 90SC with an AOD, I have a friend that wiped out his 88 8.0 mustang, and I told him I was interested in the trans...
confusion is, what would be needed to bolt it up to my 3.8sc??? do I need the crossmember, driveshaft, will I need to pull his clutch pedal and lines or is there a kit for the pedal? what do I do with my electronic parts? computer for the trans, basically I am asking what do I need, and what do I not need... easy swap? plug and play kind of thing? please give me a little help here.. he said the trans is perfect, but I can rebuild a standard, not an automatic.. I don't think I would even attempt it...
