brake upgrade 89SC to 97sport

I have the entire assembly for a 97 sport including spindle, caliper, end link, rotor, etc. all in tact and I want to put that on my 89. I've heard it's a direct bolt on but there is a speed sensor (with speed indicator ring) on my 89 assembly and there's not one on the 97 assembly so what do I need to do to make it work?

speed sensor and ring

On the 97 tbird, The speed sensor and ring are only present on the right (passenger side) spindle assembly. The left (driver's) side has no speed ring or place to bolt on the sensor.

And on my 89 these exist on both passenger and driver's sides.
Any help?

thats actually the abs ring. you probably got rotors that came off a car without abs.

You may have to drill a hole in the spindle or get one off another 93-97 bird with abs.

Anyone else have input? Besides the fact that the guy may have sold me the left and right from different cars?
