ok now ive been told both things. Is the main crank journals on the end where the crank sits on the block,is the sc and a n/a blockthe same size? And also is the block and internals the same streangth on the sc and n/a? I was wanting to strock it out and bore it and install a supercharger from that of a sc model later but i didnt really want to have to change blocks because of differnt parts not fitting on other blocks. i hope this gets my thoughts across wheeww.

The two blocks are different. The bearings are different sizes. The cranks are different. The heads are different. From what I have read, Ford done this to keep from using the parts from a weaker N/A motor. The crank in a N/A motor is cast and the one in th SC motor is forged so it is stronger. They cut the journals to keep interchanging from happening. If you could put a N/A crank in a SC motor, the torque would ring it in two. Hope this helps you out.
