We have a very stout forged crank stock in our SC's and from what I've read there is no need to replace it. The only other cranks available as far as I know is the cast steel 4.2 truck crank or a very expensive custom make billet crank.

If your worried have a stock forged SC crank shot peened and Cyroed Hedgaskets, rods and pistons are the weeker link. I think there is a forged piston available for the stock rod but if you want aftermarket contact Dave Dalke "Xr7 Dave " He is involved with tuning & building some of the fastest SC 3.8s around here. He can hook you up.

Yeah Dave is the guy who also offers the forged piston for use with the stock rods also.
