Although I've never had a problem on my SC with the stock rear sway bar mounts using a 1 3/8" Addco bar, I thought I'd try something different on my LSC with a 1 1/4" Addco bar. Obviously, everything would also translate to a SC and I'll be performing this same mod to my SC.
I'm using Energy Suspension greaseable mounts with some 1/8" thick x 1 1/2" wide stainless bar stock for reinforcement to deal with the gap in the sub-frame for the stock bracket. The corners of the brackets and the reinforcements are cut to clear the sub-frame to body mount. The smaller pieces are essentially washers to use with the rear bolt. I used 10mm x 35mm stainless socket bolts to mount the bracket, with a nylock nut for the rear bolt.
p/n 9.5165G for the 1 1/4" mounts, 9.5168G for the 1 3/8".
