My car dies for no reason while I'm driving or idling. Seems like the the power drops and comes back. Theres a rapid clicking from behind the glove box and the fuel pump turns on and off. Any idea what this could be?

Its a 1990 Supercoupe

Sounds Like your DIS module. Not sure about the clicking maybe a lose connection on your starter, which is located in the area your talking about.

that sort of makes sense.... when it dies and I try to restart it, it won't turn over and the starter sounds really weak...

All of them? Any advise on where to start looking? starter relay?

Matt

Ground on the back of the driver side head
Ground on the front driver side block (batt cable)
Ground on the front Pass side block

But i would look at your starter and get a socket on there and torque it down.

Definatelly look at the ignition switch; my brother's car had the similar problem it would die at idle and any speeds, but it would start back up without problems.
