Question of prudence running regular gas on race gas tune

hey all. I realize this question may be better suited for the engine builder/tuner, but I figured I would ask here first instead of bothering him about an engine he built 4 years ago.

So, the engine was tuned using C16 gas, and has since been sitting in my garage. I am finally getting around to plopping it into the vehicle and I was curious if I should retune, or if it would be safe to run pump gas in the engine?

Controller is standalone Electromotive Tec3r. Timing is somehwere around 32 Deg total, 36 degree base.

Let me know if you need any more info....Thanks.

Generally runing race fuel allows you to run more timing. I'd recommend getting the timing trimmed back as that is way too much for pump gas, or put a block of wood under the go pedal ;).
