I have two head units for my car, one is the stock head unit and cd player, and also a head unit that I found a Pull a Part, and it has the same type of plugs on the back of mine. I figured it was cheap so I grabbed it. My stock head unit doesn't pick up radio stations, and my stock CD player unit doesn't power up or draw in the CD. I was told the radio had leaky capacitors and the CD unit had a DC-DC converter failure. I got the new head unit and it powers up and it picks up radio stations, but when I try to listen to it, I just get music out of the front right, and its also very quiet and tinny. I can really only hear it when the volume was fully up. Oh and this is also with the CD unit unplugged. Any ideas on how I can get some sound?
