I have headers on my '94 5Spd (transplanted from my '95 that I am still parting out), does anyone know who made Stainless headers for this car? They are stainless, but i was curious of which brand they are?
Thanks-Vince
Does anyone know how which manufacturers made headers for our cars in Stainless to narrow it down?
Too bad the current supplier won't allow Kooks to make their product in SS.

Are these headers still available anywhere? I was wanting to find some direct bolt in headers. I don't have the money to have the exhaust work done.Bill Hull headers were made to be a direct bolt-in using the stock exhaust. He did supply them in SS. As far as I know he was the only one making them that allowed the use of the stock downtubes and that was the only way he made them as far as I know. So the answer is obvious if the headers could be used in a stock configuration with a stock exhaust system.
BTW....I have a set of these on my 92 and have drove the car daily over 140K miles and 8 years and they are just beginning to crack around the header flanges relatively recently. Point being....they lasted very well. They had also been Jet-Hot Coated. Too bad the current supplier won't allow Kooks to make their product in SS.
It would be nice. I would like to buy a set of good flowing headers for my car. The exhaust manifolds are junk from what I hear. I was going to snag a set of V6 Mustang headers but I hear they have to be modified to clear the steering shaft. Not that I know of. The Bill Hull headers went by the wayside years ago. Do a search though and there is a thread that lists the original supplier. Maybe you could convince them to make you a set. I read they still have the original jigs.

i dont know where you hear your stuff from. the manifolds on these cars, ported, have supported 400 rwhp. hardly junk if you ask me.
mustang headers are garbage. find a set of 94-95 manifolds, port em, and throw them on.
