After repairing my knock sensor (soldering and JB weld) been wondering if there is a suitable replacement or a way to modify a more readily available one?

I see the 3.0/3.2 (E5TF-AA) has a Hz of 6.0k vs our 5.7k or the 5.0 (E3AF-AA) with is 5.45k. Are these close enough to either use or try and change their resonance?

company websites like that dont always list all parts available but most common to cars on road at that time call and i bet they will find what you are looking for.GOOD LUCK

I think I saw the correct part available at www.fastpartsnetwork.com (a Ford dealer's website). Could be wrong, but it's worth a try.

Just make sure you get the right one for your car based on the part number on the original from your motor. Each one had a different response frequency and was motor specific not year I believe.
