Leaking pressure regulator

I picked up a Kirban pressure regulator. I stuck it on the ride and it leaks back into the tank. I cranked the pressure WAY up to see if it would keep the pressure and it still bleeds off. Anyone know what to do to fix it?

Replace it with a new one. I had very good luck using the new billet Kirban adjustable regulator, but I only had it for about a year.

That was what I was thinking I was going to have to do. First use....leaks.

So I gather you are able to hold 40 psi with the fuel pump running...but it quickly bleeds off pressure after shutting it off. If that's the case I'm not sure it's the regulator...might be the check valve at the fuel pump.

Yeah, it leaks off when the key is turned off. I know its the regulator because I swapped another one out and held the pressure.
