Well I got a little farther on my SC. I got it streetable so I can take it to my father-in-laws and paint the door jams I hope in 2 weeks. So i decided to take it for a test ride down to the gas station cause its on E. It ran pretty good and I really miss driving it so that was some good motivation to get it back on the road fast. The temp gauge was right at 180 and the oil pressure was on the M which seems a little higher then I remember and the only problem is the gas gauge seems to be messed up I remember the tank being low when I first started this project and as I drove to the station it kept getting higher and after I put $10 in it was past full so unless it figured out how to make its own gas something is up.

It could be the little circuit board on the right hand side of the gauge cluster.....

whats weird about it is if I turn the key to on it reads right and I have had it running in the driveway and didnt notice it move but wasnt paying attention to it either. I thought maybe a pressure thing but when I opened the gas cap there was nothing

Great that you got it out and down the road. Post up some updated pics when you move it along.

Hope to get mine up by the end of the month.

Glad to see you working on the Bird, are you changing up the paint scheme? How's the family? Your son must be about 2 and a half by now.

and for my 900th post (kinda sad for as long as I've been on here) the jambs are done wohoo now I can wet sand and buff and start putting this thing back together. My father in law still has to do the front bumper but he has a couple small projects to do first. but here is a pic of the passenger side right after I got done spraying it
