VMM Harnesses??

Hi there,

I just got a nice '93 SC. This car doesn't have the Vehicle Maintenance Minder up above the radio, instead it has a block off plate. Does anyone know if all SC's were already wired for this accessory? Or, did Ford build some without the wiring present?? If it's just a matter of locating the harness(s?) up in the dash & installing one, I wouldn't mind having a VMM. But, if the car was never wired for it, it wouldn't make sense to go through the trouble of adding one...

Sometimes they do and sometimes they do not. Also you would need to check to see if you have the coolant overflow tank sensor and the oil level sensor installed and or connected electrically.
 
I also have a 93 with out the vmm and I do have sensors by the rad over flow and the oil pan, so I pulled my na plate off and pulled out a harness im pretty sure the vmm harness, anyone have a vmm laying around? :)

Thanks for the info, I'll check on the oil pan...if it doesn't have the sensor, I'm not going to add it...
