View Full Version : 94 SC 5-speed Trade?

06-22-2009, 08:42 PM
Anyone interested in a 94 5-speed SC?

My 50 year old knees just can't handle the clutch any longer. It has 114K miles and is in great shape. I'm not a teenager and have never driven it like one. I've had the following replaced by the Dealer: door hinges, motor mounts, brakes and rotors, belts, plugs and wires, and all oil changes. I've replaced the headlight buckets and added a Dealer option 10-disc CD changer. It does have the usual Clearcoat peeling issues but overall it looks good. No dents or rust. Has all available options keyless entry, moonroof, 6-way driver and passenger seats, phone etc, except security system.

I would like to get 4500 if I sell it outright but would also trade it for something else. I'm willing to look at a 94-95 SC with auto trans, 95 or newer Ranger V-6 4X4, 97-newer F150 Flareside 4WD or 2WD, or a 88-93 or 99-newer GT Mustang. I would consider a 94-98 GT also but it's not my favorite bodystyle. All must have an automatic trans and should have comparable mileage. The Mustang would have to be an original V-8. Please no white vehicles, just not my color. Got a 96-newer Eldorado, I'd be interested in that also. If anyone is interested or wants to negotiate you can email me for more pics or send your offer with pics to niens2000@hotmail.com. I'm located in central Ohio and would be willing to possibly meet half way for the right trade. Thanks for looking.

Paint.... That's what my girlfriend makes me use in the kitchen every 6 months because she's "Bored".

Seriously, since my dad started the car club in my hometown 30+ years ago I've been to enough car shows to know I'm not interested in tearing a car completely apart to make sure a Black, Red, or Blue car isn't green under the hood, on the door jams, or behind the fenders. I'm an original condition kinda guy and want the numbers to match, including the paint code. Am I being picky? Sure I have a great SC and a Taurus to drive while the SC is in the garage. I don't need to sell it or trade it for that matter but if I do it'll be for what I will be happy with. I put in my ad that I will negotiate and like price or the type of vehicle I want I will also negotiate color. A white car will need to be exceptional but I would take one. I won't take a fixer-upper because the SC I have needs nothing but paint. I do appreciate everyones response though and thanks again for looking.

I know this is the one of those stupid question but WTH is that on the dash above the defrost switch.. is that the cell phone option?? Sweet bird, Love that color too.. Watch that comment about the 50 year old knees, I resemble that remark!!

If I could only win the Lotto, the old lady would divorce me, and the SC puchases would begin!!:D

You're right , it's the phone option. I called the number to enable it when i bought the car a few years back but Ford discontinued the service and now it's too outdated to use. They were all analog service and can't be used or upgraded.:(

Sale Pending!

Well guys the sale fell through. Haven't heard from the guy in a while so I'm going to re-post. I've had a lot of interest but nothing's really jumped out at me. On a side note, Cherry93SC has a seriously nice SC. I've added a couple of new pics including one of the pass side mirror which I skillfully wedged against my garage when I backed the car out. It doesn't have a scratch on it if that counts. I just wanted to say thanks for the interest and remind everyone I'll negotiate. Anyone got a spare Lincoln LS? :p

If you're interested or know someone that needs a "Back to School" car, let me know.:D

Do you still have the SC? I am between Urbana and Springfield so not far from you. I have owned a 89,92 and 94...all 5-speeds. My wife was upset when I sold them as she enjoyed them as much as I did.
I have 65 year old knees and still drive my Mustang vert on warm sunny days. 89 GT, 5-speed with Kenny-Bell supercharger and custom tuned by Rob LaSote of Columbus. He did excellent job and it now has almost as much torque as my 94 SC had.
Have you had mirror put back in place or does it need replaced? Where are you located in Columbus. I am somewhat familiar. My older brother is retired policeman from Columbus and now lives just north of Lancaster.
Let me know...I might have to get back into the money pit called SC ownership.
